Summer is here!

Summer seems to finally arrived here in the beautiful treasure valley. It sure seemed to have dragged it’s feet in getting here but now it’s time for backyard bbq’s, long evening strolls with your sweetie and all of the other fun activities that come with the warmer weather.

After such a long time stuffed inside shoes and socks toes long to be free! And lucky for us, there are some really cute flips flops out there this year (and in the store too!)

The great thing about shoes is that they are a fun and safe way to make a fashion statement. A pedicure and a pair of cute sandals will give any outfit a little bit of something extra that can put a spring in your step!

Back in the Blogosphere!

Larry and I recently took a trip to Dallas to see our son, Kevin, and his wife, Shelley. We had a great weekend seeing the sights and catching up with them. The Dallas/Fort Worth area was quite a bit prettier than I had thought it would be!

Over the course of the weekend, we had several discussions about social media. They feel pretty strongly that social media is the place to be and their enthusiasm was contagious. By the end of the weekend, we had our Facebook Fan Page set up and 40 fans! They also shared some tips on how to use Twitter to keep our customers in the loop with all the great things we have going on in the store. We figured while we were at it, we'd start the blog up again too!

We are pretty excited about how easy it is to keep you informed about all the great things we have going on in the store and plan on running some special promotions for everyone that joins our social network.
